  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Post your custom wheels

Thought I'd finally post at least one picture of my wheels on here.
Top ones are the ones I have on right now. DPE 20x8.5 staggered offsets, clears front calipers with 255 Falkens all around if I remember correctly.
Other two are ones I've bought and tested, not too happy with either for my taste though.
Middle picture are with Algernon Oltega wheels, 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with around +32 offsets and very small tires.
Bottom picture is wth Work VS-XX wheels, 19x8.5 and 9.5 with +42 offsets. Again with tires that were too small, just put then on for test fit.
Can't make up my mind, think I want something new, and I love the full face look of the Oltega's, but I want different specs as far as offsets, and I think 20's look better than 19's.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

I decided to kick it up a notch and bought some 19's. This tire and wheel combo is actually lighter than my Moda 18's, which is a win.

Plug: My stock 17's are on sale in the sales section if you're in the market for some off season wheels/tires in great condition.

Wheels: Kosei K3 Silver 19x8.5 (21.95 lbs)
Tires: 235/45R19 Continental ContiProContact

Still mulling over if I need to lower or not. I like the wheels though.

I will get better pics later. Junction Produce Heritage III - 20x9 & 20x10.5 +21ish all around. Will be lowering this weekend

245/40/20. Perfect for the rear. Too beefy on the front for me, but due to load rating and rolling diameter I had to use them. I would have like to stretch the fronts a bit. I may go with 225/35 next time around.

2012 Genesis 5.0

Niche Vicenza - M153 Black Machined with Dark Tint 20x9

The car came from the dealer with Michelin Energy Savers - the worst riding, noisiest tires I have ever owned.

Look great!

My contribution. 22x9" DeModa all around. I ended up having to shave the calipers a little up front and add spacers to get the look I wanted.

Nice choice :)

Do your wheels seem to change colors? I have the same set and I swear they are mood changing colors.

I was thinking about getting these rims on My satin white 2012 but would like to see a staggered set up:mad:

Yeah i like that rim but scared of it on a white genesis so i might get the lucerne in either brushed or titanium.

Extremely nice rims. They are the nicest I have seen so far. They compliment the car so well. Your time in the search for perfection has paid off.

really appreciate the compliment. Our cars seem very difficult to match rims to... at least in my opinion. Really wanted the staggered look but the rims I stumbled across were friendly to my pocket book as they were pre-owned. And they just happened to have the correct look.

20x9 Verde parallax. In my opinion these are some of the best understated wheel I could find. Tires are 245/35/20.

Set up.
Has anyone had issues with 30 series low profile tires in the rear?
