  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Great pict! Hopefully your car is nicer to you than Yennefer is to everyone else :-). On a tangent, if you want to see the real life manifestation of Ciri, watch the movie "The Martian." You'll know her when you see her.

Thank you! Appreciate the comment. And I'm glad to find another witcher in this forum.
And I definitely shall watch the Martian this weekend, can't wait to see a real life Ciri manifestation.

We've got the Montecito Blue with Ivory interior, and absolutley love the color combination. It's really hard to find in 5.0L Ultimate, tho, we searched almost 6 months.

Doc

weird, Monte/Ivory in 5.0 is everywhere here, but not to be found on a v6 unless base and/or non AWD

Those eyes...

Looking through this thread and the other thread that asked about favorite ext. color/int.color and realized that silver didn't have a lot of representation.
So-o-o-o.... here's my Santiago Silver 5.0 with gray interior.

The interior looks almost white in this photo, but it really is gray

I'm still in 'major' withdrawal :( after parting with my CTS-V with 570 RWHP which was the same color combo.
But... now that I'm 70, I'm trying to act and drive in a mature manner. ;)

5-Timer, wow, both the Genesis and the CTS-V are looking pretty tight! I like what you did on the tail-end on the Genesis.

faaiz66: Have you had a chance to play "Hearts of Stone" yet? As is typical of CD-Projekt Red, it has great quests with some unexpected twists. I swear they've got some of the best quest-writers in the business.

Here's my 2nd Gen Empire State Gray sedan, lowered 1.2"-1.4" with ARK Performance springs, sitting on 20" TSW Bathurst gloss gunmetal wheels:

Sorry for the busy background and terrible mid day lighting. I wasn't planning on taking pictures of her when I initially parked in front of my garage.

RLoyola, your ride looks tight!

This looks awesome! Completely new to lowering cars, how do you go about that as in do you purchase springs and then have them installed? Any effect on warranty? Also the wheels look great, are they staggered?

Really Sweet! Enjoy!

Thanks guys! I've been on a mission to find lowering springs ever since I got the car in March. The lack of aftermarket support was starting to get frustrating. I'm not a fan of getting aftermarket wheels without losing the wheel gap so I was almost starting to regret my decision to buy this car. I'm so glad I stayed patient lol.

Perfect stance. How do you assess the ride quality from OEM?

Ride quality is a liiiittle bit stiffer. However, I can't tell if that's because of the smaller sidewall of a 35 series tire vs the stock 45 or if it's because the car is lowered on springs with a more aggressive spring rate. I'm sure it's a combination of both. The wife still feels that it's a very plush ride and that the change in ride quality was not significant. It has the wife's approval!

You have to purchase the springs and then get them installed at a reputable shop. I happen to live somewhat near ARK Performance so they approached me to be a tester for their springs, so I got lucky. However, there's a user here named Huddleston who got Storm Springs installed on his car. If you haven't seen his car yet, I suggest you look him up as he has got one beautiful car. I believe the springs he got lowered it the same amount. Here's a link to his thread: http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=17000&highlight=huddleston

I decided to not get a staggered setup because I like to rotate my tires and get the most life out of them. But if buying tires more frequently doesn't really phase you, I'd suggest a staggered setup because they make rear wheel drive cars look super aggressive.
