    Question Locking issue

Several times I experienced inability to lock the car by pressing the button on the door handle. However, the doors would lock when I pressed the remote. Anyone figure out why?

The door buttons do wear out, especially if you press them too hard. However, if you have a G80 (2017 model) then probably not. Contact your dealer for warranty service.

Do you keep your key by your phone? Cause I think there is something that messes with the signal.

fob has to be next to the door for it to work. Not in same pocket as phone.

Mine has plenty of range to be recognized from my far pocket. If the folding mirrors unfold when you walk up and the smart trunk beeps when you're behind it, fob range isn't the issue. If it is, I'd look at replacing the fob since it should have at least *that* much range.

What he is saying is that if you have your FOB and Cell Phone in close proximity to each other, It messes with the signal from the FOB so your door button will not work properly. I have had this happen before and confirmed this to be in fact the issue.

Oh, OK. That makes sense. Yeah, I do typically have them in opposite pockets.

Just got the g80 and trying to figure out when I approach the car and I press the small button how can I get it to unlock all the doors at the same time because mine just opens drivers door and its annoying unlocking from the door switch for passengers

This is a setting in the settings you get between the gauges. You can also push the button a second time to unlock the rest of the doors (I think, I don't use this mode).
