Hyundai’s Genesis sedan and sportier sibling Genesis Coupe rang in at number five on CarsDirect’s Top Ten Cars of the Decade Countdown.

I just purchased a Genesis 3.8 l with the Premium and Tech package for my wife. She loves the car and i do too, allthough as a BMW driver i prefer a somewhat stiffer suspension.
What is disappointing however is the fact that one cannot download from my Blackberry the phone book. As i learned today the much less expensive Sonata 2010 and the Genesis Coupe have this option but not the Genseis 2010 Sedan. In the manual on page 164 it tells us this fact. I did not know that when i bought the car. The dealer could not help either allthough they tried very hard.
I called today the Hyundai customer relations office and suggested to them that they should come up with a software addition that can be down loaded to all Genesis models to allow the down loading of phone books.
I tried based on your suggestion to reset the computer to the factory setting. This did not help. The dealer tried it too.

Any suggestions? Could it be that the password is different for my Beamer and the Genesis?

The genesis could be fixed with a simple software update. The question is why don't they.
