Niche Targa 20x8.5 - 20×10 - 245/35/20 - 275/30/20.

Just put on 20" wheels. Do anyone have experience with the low profile 30 series tires in the rear? Any issues with them bending your wheels or air inflation? I believe these are the proper set up for a 20" stagger wheel for our car. Please advise. What do you guys think?

Nice wheels. I think that more appropriate tyres would be...

F245/40/20 (error speedo -1.41%)
R275/35/20 (error speedo -0.91%)

With a current setup those errors are F 2.15% and R 3.14%
 
The new 2015 Genesis V8 OEM 19" stock set up is 245/40/19 - 275/35/19. With 20" wouldn't you need lower profile tires for accurate settings?

So technically the lower profile is closer to spec and the higher profile tires are actually larger than oem setup. Is this correct?

Im going to try to change the tires. To 40/35 series profile. Want higher sode wall. Thanks.
 
Doing research all mid size luxury cars with 20" oem options come with 35/30 swries low profile tires. 19"wheels are always 40/35.

cool wheels on a good looking black car. according to discount tires the 40 front and 35 rear are better fit than 35 and 30. the overall tire diameter are 0.5inch and 0.3inch taller than factory set up, so u will be doing roughly 61mph when your speedo says 60. your rev will be a bit lower as well, good for mpg.
 
Was just out shopping for new wheels and tires for the 2015 Genny.

Do not run a larger size tire than OEM! Have to run the size slightly smaller. We did that with a client's and it caused a shift/transmission error. Changed back to stock wheels, reset, and never came back. Swapped to the smaller tires, and they worked without issues. (I apologize for not having exact figures, but I don't remember them off hand. I can look them up, but all I know is they cannot be larger than OEM.)
 
Thinking about getting 20' like these for the 2015 Genesis. What do yall think?

Makes me worry now. I have 245/30zr22 toyo's. spec sheet show 28" diameter. The p zero nero's that were on the stock 18's show 27.2 diameter. Have been running the 22's now for months and no issue. should I be worried??
 
Can anyone confirm that if you run a larger size tire than OEM you car will get damaged?! Please advise.
