  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

on your dash above the cd player there should be a little hole which is the reset button. When I had some problems they told me to hold this down to reset it, it will reset all of your vehicles settings if held down long enough. It you just do a quick 2 seconds and let go it will restart it the in dash system.

I had it happen once on the way to lunch about a month ago. No button or voice command did anything. When I fired up after lunch, everything was normal. No occurrences since.

Re: Blind Side Detection Cancelled

I have had the BSD cancelled for no known reason twice now. Once it happened during a rainy trip so I thought maybe some water got somewhere it shouldn't have. Last time it just appeared 1/2 way through a 200 mile trip. The notice appears on the display between the Tach and Speedometer, blanking out the rest of the display. So far it has reset itself when restarting the car.
