  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Folks,
I decided to start a new thread, below is a link to the old one with these wheels on my R-Spec.
Four TSW Nurburgring Gunmetal with Mirror Face wheels 19 x 9 35 mm offset with five(5) Bridgestone Potenza Re505A 275-40R19 101Y tires. One tire brand new and never used. Almost 5/16 inch of tread remaining on used tires, 8500 miles of use. Rotated once. New tire carried on road trip. Entire set includes wheels, one very light scratch, five tires, concentric rings, genuine Hyundai/Kia TPMs, and wheel spacers, all mounted and balanced. Spacers are not required for mounting. Also includes 20 chrome lug nuts designed for the TSW wheels. Since all the lug nuts are especially designed for the wheels a special security socket is also provided thus making all lug nuts security type. Below is a link to a TSW Dealer for more information on the wheels. My R-Spec was traded, stock wheels re-mounted.
I recently purchased a small enclosed trailer. I live in south east NC, about 80 miles up the coast from Myrtle Beach SC. I'm willing to travel and meet some one at a reasonable distance. Obviously that's subjective but could help pay for shipping. I also get a 75% discount with Fed Ex.
$2000.

For what it's worth here is a picture with the spacers installed on the car. Moved the tires out just enough. No rubbing.

For what it's worth, if anyone wants to come get them they are yours for $1500. I live near Wilmington NC.

Do you have any other pics of the wheels mounted on the car?

Please check the first post of this thread. You'll find a link to the original thread with four more pictures of the car, wheels and tires.
Thanks

Folks,
Not that there is a soul out there that is concerned but in about a week I'm going to take the tires off these wheels for another vehicle. So far I've had no real interest.
Thanks

If I could sell my old set of forged rims I'd gladly take them off your hands. Not interested in any trades by chance? :wish:

jnc,
Thanks much. I must have studied the rimsntires website for hours and another hour under the Evoque with a tape. Pulled it off. I have about 1/4 of an inch between the front tires, when fully turned, and the plastic wheel well liner. Even if the front tires had rubbed who cares, it's just plastic and no one does a full lock turn except when parking!

I am interested in purchasing the wheels and tires mounted and balanced with TPMS as described for $1,500 plus shipping to zip code 21152. Please contact me by phone (443-801-4559) to finalize the transaction. Warm Regards, Jeff

OK folks, how about $1700. plus shipping?
Thanks

Folks,
OK, here's my final offer. $1750 including shipping and insurance anywhere inside the Continental USA. I have the packing necessary to properly wrap them for shipping. I'll insure each wheel and mounted tire for $500. with the exception of one wheel and tire that will have a box with the lug nuts, lug key, spacers and concentric rings taped securely to the backside of the rim inside the packing of that particular wheel. That particular wheel and tire will be insured a little extra for $600. The unmounted tire will be insured for $300., the going retail price. The TPMs, obviously, are still in the wheels, genuine Hyundai parts. I have a PayPal account.
Thanks

Question - are the rings required to make allow the wheels to fit (I have a 4.6), or did you install them for aesthetics?

TTribe,
Yes sir, the concentric rings fit over the car hub. They insure the wheel hub matches the cars hub diameter. All Hyundai wheels, I believe, have the same hub size and bolt pattern. I know I sold my original R-Spec wheels and tires to a gent that put them on an Elantra. He sent me a picture to prove it.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Let me clarify my question - were the rings the only way the wheels would clear the brake calipers? In other words, do the rings have to be on there for the wheels to fit?

I think you are referring to the "spacers".(?) The devices, rings, with the numerous holes in them. No they are not required to clear the calipers.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Thanks.

Here's a picture of a front wheel without the spacer. If I recall properly there was at least an inch between the caliper and wheel, and the R-Spec calipers are considerably bigger than the 4.8's. I put the spacers on simply to move the wheels out a little. Drove the car from east coast to Iowa and back. Zero problems.
