  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2014 R-SPEC sedan ECU info

Ok smartass, when I googled factory wheel offset for 2014 Hyundai Genesis R-Spec Sedan the results I found varied from +35 to +39. So tell me how is that more helpful than a sticky in the suspension forum?

It's not. In fact it's counterproductive. I am not saying sticky everything in fact I think the Admin should create one or two in each section and then lock the thread so there isn't 100 pages of responses saying "I approve this message" or "great job".

It's Internet know it all trolls like you who weaken the community because you act like your so beyond reaponding with pertinent information that your only response is "google is your friend".

Aw, name calling. The sign of a true winner.

Enjoy yourself! Maybe someone else can help you operate search engines!

Look I'm not trying to be a jerk. I just don't understand your stance of arguing with my opinion that pertinent information should be more readily available without having to jump through hoops. I just do not see any validity to your argument other than providing an opportunity for you to be argumentative.

I think you and I see hoops differently, and that's OK.
Care to start a suggestions thread for things that should be stickied? I'd be glad to contribute to your goal of assembling information, regardless of my preferences in access.

Well I appreciate that and again I was not trying to be insulting. I have an MIS degree so taking advantage of resources like google isn't a problem. It's the conflicting information that is available that makes things confusing.

In all reality I just want to help establish an easier solution for accessing information with a static response rather than a bludgeoning of conflictions in the process.

Send Tailwalker a PM. He could let you know all the details about his 4.6 ECU and interactions with BTR. Surprised he hasn't responded to this thread which makes me think he hasn't seen it yet.

I understand what Tampa_Gen_13 is saying here. It's silly that I have to rely exclusively on Google to search this site because the built in search is so poor. Having a sticky with confirmed details like certain specifications would be very beneficial as even with a Google search its easy to come across conflicting information. This means that some tasks turn into guesswork as I look at multiple threads/posts on the same topic and have to derive the correct answer from 4 different ones based on which one has the most consensus.

Please comment on my thread in general discussion forum.
