  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Stock G80 years 2016 ,2017, & 2018 are there any differances in features??

Yeah, that makes no sense to me either on the 5.0 model. You would think that the V8 Ultimate would be the very top of the line. Guess it is the same deal as not having Apple Car Play and Android Auto in the Ultimates....just one of those things they decided to do.

For 2018, all but the G80 base models have the sunshades (side and rear), regardless of whether it is a 3.8, 3.3T (only offered fully loaded) or 5.0 model...

I was waiting all year for a sport 2018 g80 but after careful consideration I opted for and lease a 2017 g80 ultimate. Got a sweet deal for one since 2018's are in showrooms around the country , honestly the only thing I'll miss is Android auto and the led headlights Which I think looks great. The sport is not practical for me in NYC 90% of the time I'm driving in traffic plus all the potholes . If you could get a good price for 2017's go for it

Hi dxtra196, I know your post is a few months old but I'm thinking of buying a 2017 G80 Luxury. There are still some 2017s left. Currently they're offering $5K off + finance rates of 0.9% or lease at 2.4%. I'm wondering if I can do better than $5k off the MSRP. What were you able to negotiate?

Thanks.

Looks like you live in Canada. The prices, features, trim levels, warranty, importer discounts, importer leasing and financing deals, etc are different between the USA and Canada. In the USA, the importer is Hyundai Motor America, and in Canada it is Hyundai Auto Canada.

To make matter more complicated, the Canada models, trim levels, features, etc, are also different than the South Korean models (as are the USA models).

I use a couple of timer relays to simulate pushing the switch. I also automatically turn on the heated/cooled seats the same way. If you give me your email address, I can send detailed wiring to you. You should be able tro use a similiar strrategy to setr sport/eco mode on startup and other features that require pushing a button.
Hi! Im interested in this. Can you share your work?
Thanks.

All the safety gizmos like lane keep assist and AEB were made standard in 2017.

Basically, the purpose of the timers are to mimic you pushing the button. The trick is you have to time the electronic pushing of the button (can't push it too early or hold it too long). Unfortunately, I cannot attach the wiring diagrams to this message because they are larger than the forum allows. If you send me a private message, I will email them to you.
