  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Best look at the Genesis G70 yet!

As time goes on we're getting better and closer looks with less and less camouflage. Here's another one of those times. Take a look at a few more pictures and a short article on the Genesis G70:

Definitely has the classic, uncluttered styling of a Peter Schreyer car. Top marks, so far!

Yes, looking good as far as I can tell. This car is surely going to be a hit. I'm anxious - trying to be patient. :p

I like what I see so far.

looks like they are leaning more and more towards mesh grills, I've been really wanting to find a nice aftermarket mesh grill for my genesis! Maybe these from the sport or g70 will fit to the g2 models.

Likely will have both - a more traditional grill treatment for the non-sport trims and mesh for the sport version.

Lookin good. Waiting for a Genesis dealership to go up here. Hyundai is building and new, larger facility and I believe the outgoing building is going to go to Genesis Motors. It's a nice building, with a lounge, lots of big windows and a workout room and everything, so it would be perfect as a luxury car dealership.

That could be some time down the road though, so I'm glad I jumped on the Genesis Sedan when I did!

Some interior spy shots...

Interesting that took the quilted look on the door panels from Kia's SX-L trim.

From what can seen, think I like the design aesthetics of the dash over the G80's (which find to be on the bland side).

From what I can make out of it, the interior looks promisingly sharp. I actually like the quilted look, and they integrated the pop-up infotainment screen into the dash, which I personally like.

The darker grey looks so much nicer.

I like the diamond cut leather...

Yet another copy from Audi (diamond stitched seats) - little originality in this brand, it seems? But the interior does look nice...

Oh no, that screen looks too small. Why doesn't genesis offer red seat?

Maybe they should have done circles or squares. :p

Audi copied the diamond quilting from Bentley.

^ And numerous other luxury brands have used the diamond stitch pattern, as well as some mainstream brands such as Kia on their SX-L trim.

And that's not the only pattern used for the seats in the G70 (suspect that the lower trims get the striped stitch pattern as shown here).
