Bluelink is the name of the plan.
New models have 3 years free. Older models you pay, 3 different levels at $99 each.If not does anyone know the annual fee?
I was kinda thinking this was a scam but I notice that Ford has it and with the 2018 Honda Accords they also have it. Now I believe the Accords still have a fob remote start but you can start your car from a much further distance with the phone app. The Honda package is $260.00 per year. So I'm guessing this is the way of the future. Thanks EdP! You seam to have all the info. What I found said $79.00 but that was an old article. But I learned alot from it Assurance, Essentials and Guidance. And I assume you still need map updates and SiriusXM traffic to have the whole package at another $179.00. I know they are free for 3 years but when purchasing a car at this price I usually plan to keep it 5 years and I want to know what I am getting into.
Thanks to everyone for the help.

Pleasantly surprised me although I confess I don’t know what it means.

Here is an article on it. Looks like it may be helpful in providing some info.

Ugh, what a shame. I wonder if after-market modifications would be around to allow you augment the vehicle to facilitate connectivity to a different network? If it's properly abstracted I'd imagine that the hardware used should be transparent to the software underneath.![]()

Even if you buy it used, you get the remaining balance. I bought my G80 Sport with 10k miles & they transferred the 2 years & 6 months that remained. I did have to call into support & have the account changed as the vin was still under the previous owner. This required me to send a copy of the bill of sale, my drivers license, & registration. Once that was sent, they changed it in about 15 minutes. I have all 3 connected services at no cost.
