  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 maintenance schedule?

Then the only issue is time at that point, not expense.

I’m sure I will be corrected if I’m wrong but I think only one maintenance per year is free. If your driving requires it more often then you would have to pay.

That is what I thought. Probably doesn’t cost much for the extra oil changes plus they may valet it.

Oil change is every 6k miles at their expensive. If you do 19k miles in one year...they’ll change your oil 3 times in one year for free.

Let’s say you get your free oil change after 6 months. You have to wait another 6 months for the next one...you can’t get another at, let’s say, 9 months (after the next 3 months).

That is different than what their website says and what we discussed on herein the past. Could be things changed with the G70.

Edit: Never mind. After rereading your post I see you are saying what I said that not all oil changes are free. Doing too many things at once. ;)

Yeah...so free every 6k miles...and not limited to once per year (if you drive crazy miles).

Who's on first?

Good to know. I get one measly free oil change with the Audi.

Driving back home last night from downtown Chicago at 130 AM, I got a pop up saying I was almost due for a scheduled service and to use the Genesis connected services button and say "schedule service." I thought, "what the hell? Let's try it!" Despite it being nearly 2AM, I connected to a lady who took down my info, best times to schedule appt and preferred dealership to pass along to my concierge manager. I'm blown away!

Both loaners I have had were G70 elite 2.0T awd.

I was happy that the one I had last month had winter tires on it. Most dealerships just leave all seasons on their loaners. (y)

ok, now i'm even more confused about what the deal is with complimentary services. i just hit 6 months today, and received two separate service notifications: 1 email from Genesis Connected Services, and 1 in-car notification. both told me my car is due.

why would i receive these notifications if the service was not part of the maintenance plan? servicing on a 6 month interval seems right to me, and aligns with all other Hyundai products as far as i know (as the time-based limit, not mileage - "whichever comes first").

anyone else receiving 6 month service notifications?

here's the email screenshot:

I had an early notification at 6 months as well. Apparently it was set to that by default instead of the 1 year/10k km. They should fix it when you take it in for service

How many kms are you at?

I haven't received an email or notification in my app.
Anyone have the number to call (Canada) to schedule the maintenance?
I reached out to the sales rep and a while ago, but never heard back.
