  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello everyone, I’m planning on purchasing a 2014 rspec sedan with 108,000 miles for $12k( Btw is this a good buy?) and would like to know if there are any performance mod options. I’ve been on YouTube and google and the most I’ve seen done is lowering the car and adding a different wheel and tire set up and exhaust. I’ve seen tunes but I believe they were only for the coupe. Any suggestions? Or is that enough and am I just power hungry lol, because I still want a naturally aspirated v8.

I got my 2012 with 85k about 3 months ago and payed $12k. IMO the one you found isnt a bad price as anything after 2012 jumps in price with the additional color options and such. Performance wise there are intakes which arent too promising in the power department, a few exhaust options, more if you go the custom route.

I have a white 2009 4.6 with just over 15000 miles all original, garage kept and no dings immaculate. How much do you think it's worth?

Way to hijack a thread! 😂 Check Cargurus.com

I just wanted the opinion of the R spec buyers because buyers of the r spec genesis I think are more knowledge about the value of the car since it was built for only a few years.

Ok but you should be creating a new thread not posting a comment in someone else's. Your comment has nothing to do with the original topic.

thats a good price imo for rspec, i bought mine $50k+ in 2013 its a great car. intake, exhaust, tune, light weight pulley (coming soon) ect.

Performance mods are slim pickings for our Rspecs. Magnaflow for a full catback exhaust (lots of muffler choices), MSA secondary cat deletes, (can be custom made as mine are), make your own Intake or other companies like WeaponR, R2C, etc. Or a K&N panel drop in filter with "air box flapper mod". 10fintec is the only Tune option in the western hemisphere, but it's very expensive around $1750 for the PCM & TCM. Suspension mods can be found at Ultra racing in the form of Strut braces and other suspension braces. Lower springs from Ark performance and maybe a few others. BC for coikovers...Wheels and tires take your pick....
