Constant beeps

My GV80 beeps at about 30 second intervals ALL THE TIME. Locked or unlocked. I’m concerned that it will run down my battery. Does anyone else notice this? And what is it?

Does it do this when the car is off or just when it's on?

Is anything showing on the dash or infotainment screen as to what the alert might be?

Could this be a dying battery in your Garage Door Opener? Not the one on the rearview mirror but an additional garage door opener. Just a thought.

When it’s off. Nothing on the dash. Now I’m wondering if it really beeps when it’s locked… will check that tomorrow.

I don't have another garage door opener in or near the car. The beeps definitely come from the car.

I'm wondering if it beeps as a part of security system when someone walks by the car???

I deleted the digital key card, but it still beeps every 30 seconds.

It does it when I’m in and out of the garage. I just now got in the car, started it and let it run while I checked for any notifications or alerts. Found none. BUT since the radio was off (I usually have it on when driving), IT BEEPS WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING TOO!
I think it’s possessed! LOL. We live 2 hours from our dealer, so I’m calling the service department tomorrow. I give up!

Ok. Here is a LONG LONG Shot.

Back around year 2000 or 2001, my car started to Beep, every 120 seconds (two minutes). Car running, car off, outside, inside, did not matter. Every 120 seconds. (Starting to think someone is tracking me?)
Sound was INSIDE car, not outside. Sounded like from under dashboard, but who knows, because a beep can reflect from anywhere inside car. Finally, after a few days, decided to take top of dash off. (Could do that with that car). Thinking someone placed a tracker in there. Found NOTHING. Checked under dash. NOTHING.

Ok. Couple days later, grabbing a jacket out of the back seat, found a “phone pager”. (Remember these before cell phones got popular?) Then remembered, we took a friend home a few days earlier. The pager fell out of her pocket and stayed hidden in the back seat. When someone called the pager, and nobody answered it, it would beep every 120 seconds. Asked the friend if it was hers. (It was)

Did you leave anything on the backseats or floorboards? Could be security system thinking you left child/pet in backseat.

I have a beep going off about every minute, but it's not the car it's the battery backup in my Garage door opener in the ceiling over the car. Could maybe that be it?
