If you want to use a clothes hanger is is useless. If you just want to hang a jacket as you would on a closet coat hook it does work. I may have done that twice in five years.

I use it 5x a week going to/from work. I think you characterized it best. It's a coat "hook", not a hanger.

I wish Genesis spent the money from those sexy looking but dubious metal hangers on making the hooks in the trunk out of metal instead of cheap plastic.

I hang my coat on the passenger side for that reason. Doesn't get in the way when its there

Actually, sometimes I do. Other times I will check my mirror. Rarely do I turn my head any more.

Paint/sharpie it to match your interior. It would've been pretty cool if they made it like a pop socket so it could be tucked

But yes I agree - a pop socket would've been much more fitting. I'm surprised this is the first time I'm seeing this hanger in pictures.

When you fold down the back seats, these knobs allow you to hang a net to separate the cargo compartment from the front passenger seats.
