Navigation Map and Software Update Discussion Thread

I guess it never occurred to me that the vehicle actively downloads the OTA update only while it's running. By "running", does that mean fully on and ready to drive/driving, or is Accessory ON mode good enough?

Would be nice. Is it controlled by the playback unit or the source? I've seen that with home stereo sources and even my cable box. The TV stations are different volume than the music stations.

Or perhaps the copy was written back when April was the expected release date. Don't they usually have 2 releases per year (Spring and Fall)?
