Been here awhile...
So...I've just picked up my 2010 Tau Sedan w/Tech to use as a template for manufacturing purposes. We'll display it at SEMA next year with our products, but I'm interested in seeing what you're looking for. My considerations so far:
1. Front Grill - I will actually be smoking out the entire front grill similar to a black chrome look. I plan on doing this to my personal vehicle and see how it holds up to the weather. If it holds well, I'll offer this product to the gen pop.
2. Intake - at a glance, I'm not seeing much room for a cold air intake. I'll be diassembling the front and rear bumpers tomorrow, so I'll have a better look as to what's possible. But a short ram is definitely doable.
3. Tuner - I'm talking with Hypertech. They're a bit skeptical since it's a new ECU for them. My hopes is that they'll be able to fix the slow shifting and up the power a bit.
4. Test pipes - funny thing is that these pipes are exactly the same as the V6 coupe. I haven't looked at the V6 sedan yet, but my assumptions are they're the same. I have 6 sets made up already, but I'm waiting on a response from the site admin to setup as an authorized vendor to provide you a price.
5. Exhaust - hopefully, I can come up with an economical exhaust. We'll probably sell it in two separate sections: the axle back and an X pipe so that you can mod at your leisure. We'll most likely offer a discount for a combo package.
6. Power - well...this is our secret project for now since it'll take a long time to develop. But...it involves 2 snails.
7. Cosmetics - still unsure about this here, but I might manufacture carbon fiber covers/replacements for the engine compartment. Don't see a huge market here though, so I might just make ours a one off.
8. Body Kit - our body kit company is sending me a Lexus lip kit for the sedan. I'll be using it as a template to cut/refabricate a lip kit for the Sedans. Look for this hopefully in the fall considering the development and manufacturing time.
Uhm...I think that's about it. Now your turn. I've owned mine for 27 hours now. It didn't last 20 hours before we started tearing into it. LOL.
