Automatic Volume Control

I have a 2012 Gen Sedan, my radio volume always adjust itself when I'm driving. If I have the volume high, when coming to a stop it gets low. Also If I have the volume high, once I start driving it adjust itself louder. Is there anyway options on turning that off so I can have complete control of my volume system?
My Gen do not come with the DVD player or Navigation system. It has the small LED display radio screen, not the double din one.

As stated above, just go to settings and look in sound. There is an adjustment for speed related volume.

I have the same issue with my 2009 Genesis Sedan and I found out that there's no way to disable the "Automatic Volume Control" in the settings and it happens only when you go pass 30 mph. I'm currently looking to upgrade the stock OEM non DVD/Navigation Radio for an aftermarket radio. Hopefully I won't have to deal with the Automatic Volume Control issue anymore.

I have 780 watts of power with a 12" Kicker and when the radio volume automatically goes up, it gets really loud and way to much bass! It's annoying.
I took the car to Car Toys and they said they sell everything for the car except the head unit dash kit. They said you would have to custom mount it or something.
Anyways, they said it was gonna be expensive. Let me know what you end up doing Mark, especially if you run into a dash kit for the sedan.

Im just hoping this aftermarket radio will show the climate information and still allow audio controls from the steering wheel.However, I'll keep you posted and will take pictures of the process.

So, I went ahead and tried to install it myself last weekend since the professional installer quoted me $400. First thing first I disconnected the negative battery terminal to avoid short-circuiting or any Airbags lights . I then found out that I didn't need the navigation (84740-3M100) din because the aftermarket radio won't fit but I did have to saw/melt the OEM din (see pic) to make it fit. The wiring for the aftermarket radio is perfectly labeled and so is the aftermarket radio harness for our Hyundai Genesis Sedan 2009-2013 (see pics). It was like putting a puzzle together as I matched the wires and follow the labeling from the aftermarket radio's manual and the packaging for aftermarket Hyundai Genesis Sedan radio harness. Took me a good 3 & 1/2 hours to finish this install. It was very easy but I'll miss using the CD player and not having my climate control information displayed. I'm currently searching for the steering wheel controls retention interface kit for our Hyundai Genesis Sedan 2009-2010.
However, I'm so happy I don't experience the annoying Automatic Volume leveling any more, I go pass 30 mpg and the volume stays the same. I think anyone can do this install and this is a great upgrade!!!!!

As of now I'm just guessing what mode my climate is in and adjusting the temperature off of the feel of the heat or cooling coming out the vents. I hope someone creates an aftermarket radio with Climate controls visible. I also need to find steering wheel controls retention interface kit for our Hyundai Genesis Sedan, let me know if you find anything on that?

Why are you checking the mode? In winter, I set mine for 70, in summer, 72. Never look, never change anything. It maintains the temperature I want. Moved south 3 years ago, set it to 72 and have not touched it since.

Unlike old systems, this does what it has to do to maintain temperature.

There's no visual any more once you install an aftermarket radio in the 2009 Hyundai Genesis V6 Sedans. The OEM radio was the information center showing the AC mode, inside and outside temperature, and radio station. With my Aftermarket radio I just installed I will never know the exact temperature or mode it's blowing (Floor, Windshield, Full face etc.), only by feel.

I think that his point was that if you never change it from full auto and never change the temperature setting, you don't need a display to know what it is set to. So many people don't give the system a chance to just do it's thing. I like the auto, and don't have cause to change any settings. Do you constantly adjust your home thermostat?

I constantly have to adjust the temperature in the car for my miserable wife and also for my Wooly Husky in the rear seat. It would be nice to see what mode and temperature it's at. I used the automatic feature and dual but it seems to go high heat. By the way do you both have the older 2009 model Genesis?

Pros and cons. The more advanced, the more chances for failures. (so far, none for me though)
