  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone else have this issue of head or hair slightly bumping headliner getting in the cockpit of 2023 and later G90 models?

I am 6’ 0” and the door openings and/or headliner thickness has changed from what I remover of the 2017 model.

I really have to nail the landing to avoid it.

The secret is to go past the center line of the seat I guess while in the pike position. It is deeper bite of the seat than most cars I suspect. You can do the normal sit, but I really have to crane my neck towards my left shoulder and even then I am still scuffing my head or hair.

I can’t be the only one. I think they might need to have a six footer look at remolding the head liner near the driver door frame and shaving an inch off and get a negative swell in that thing until they reach the door frame.

P.S. getting out of car, no issues.

Same issue with my 24 G90-SC. I'm 6'1"".

One thing I noticed is I have my seat adjusted slightly above the lowest setting. That the perfect seating position for me. The seat retracts back to enter & exit the vehicle but not down to the lowest setting.

Retracting down to the lowest seat setting for entry & exit would be a nice feature & would give me more head clearance but at my height my head still touches the headliner at the door opening.

This might be an aging thing too. Maybe the neck is just not as flexible as it was previously.

Have a rental right now, 4 door jeep Wrangler hard top….same thing.

Such a stupid vehicle. I hate Uconnect. The switches are so rough to use. Blinker takes 5 pounds of force. Auto transmission shifts like a learner permit teen learning a standard. The actual shifter updates a half second too late on the what position it is actually in. The window buttons so far away on the dash. Running board, rocks guards are completely useless to help get in or out.
