The Genesis dealership says the ph level in my brake fluid is high. Is that really a thing? They said f they will flush the entire brake system for $229.00 on my 2018 g80 Sport with 61,500 miles. Any thoughts?

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture over time. Flushing the system is inexpensive compared to the cost of replacing a rusted brake line or seized caliper.

Note that a good local mechanic shop can flush the brake system, probably for less than the dealer. You can do it yourself for only the cost of the brake fluid and your time, if you already have a few tools.
I'm surprised that they measured ph instead of moisture, and really surprised that the ph would be high instead of low (low = acid).

My BMW dealer tried to sell me new brake fluid for my wife's car when it was two years old with 9,000 miles on it. They also wanted to flush the engine. But the one goo thing about that dealer is the food spread they put out is fantastic.
