I have had one regulator go bad on my 21 about three years ago. Then a second one go bad this summer at the dealership when I brought my car in to get my evaporator coil replaced. Good timing. And for whatever reason they replaced a third one. I did not notice the bill until I got home so knew why. While they were at it, they also replace all the black molding around the windows as it was fading. I never asked. All covered under warranty. I hope the fourth one goes before the warranty is up.
