  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just took delivery of my 2026 G90. The user's manuals that were supplied with the car are not comprehensive and only show a very little of the car's functions and how things operate. I went online and found the complete manual, but it is 711 pages long, impossible to download and print. I have requested the printed version from the dealer, but have not heard back as yet. Has anyone received the full printed version of this manual? The one online is for the 2024 car, but appears to be appropriate for the 2026 as well.

It seems Genesis and other manufacturers are all doing this as It happened with a 2025 GMC Denali that I purchased, but after some hassle with the dealer, they got me the printed version to use. I'll see what Genesis will do.

Why print it? Just download and read off the computer. It gives you the ability to do searches too.
I've not opened the printed manual on the last three cars.

I am very happy to have gotten the full, printed manual for my 2024 G90. I would assume they could come up on Ebay.

Yeah, I see a 2025 on Ebay, and that will probably work, nothing really changed, but I want to see what the dealer says. My guess is that a 2026 is not available yet. Only changes are new wiper blades and a few sounds, so the manual would be the same.

I just bought the 2025 on Ebay, didn't want to wait on the dealer and maybe miss this one.

That will work of course, but you wind up with a lot of paper over time that is hard to keep up with.

The great thing about a downloadable manual is you don't have to printout anything (unless of course you want one, which I don't). You can save pages, or portions of a page, directly to a folder on your computer for future reference as well. The bulky hardcopy manuals that came with the car are sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

If you go into the Genesis App, and then hit the Car Care button at the bottom, then scroll to Resources Section you will find the owners manual complete with search bar. Also you will find another section called Manuals and Guides that has additional documentation.

Wiper blades, sounds and you get 2 additional buttons to close the rear doors on the center console, are the only changes I am aware of, and the floating Genesis logo on the hubs in the black version, which would make changing the tire easier as the lugs do not have to be uncovered.

Thanks, I looked that up. Wonder why the salesperson did not mention that to me? I have been after him to get me a hard copy of the manual and he is trying to but has not had much success.

This at least will let me be at the car when I want to make an adjustment on some of the functions. It’s a long scroll in some cases.

Just don’t forget the magnifying glass at the top for search terms. Type in “filter” and the blue up and down arrows will take you to each instance. Should be able to search for 8-1 (Emergency Situations) if you know the section the item is in and get to the section quickly. Table of contents is on page 5.

As it turns out, I have to eat crow. In the trunk of the new G90, I found the complete user’s manual exactly what I was looking for. I bought the 2025 off of eBay, but now have the 2026 like I was after. What is strange is the salesman and the dealership did not know that the complete manual came with the car. Simply in believable. If any one needs the 2025 manual , let me know, I’ll send it to you for free!!!

That kinda sucks. Maybe the seller will take it back?

I am trying to return it and hopefully the seller will take it back. I was a little quick on the trigger and was not expecting the manual to be provided. The dealer and salesman did not know the manual was with the car or inform me of that. Strange that they did. It know!!!

Maybe they are getting trained to direct everyone to the app, plus don’t forget there is a searchable user manual on the infotainment system too using the touch wheel, voice and search.

Those sales people get all types of personalities. I personally can’t stand paper manual and would prefer PDF and I can’t stand the sales person walking me through all the bells and whistles. I love the journey of discovery and really get enjoyment out of touching and fiddling with every switch myself and reading these forums.

Then there are others that just don’t have time for that journey and would be upset without a thorough walkthrough of all the bells and whistles and may prefer to read the manual in one sitting or not at all. Whatever they pick up from the sales walkthrough is all they have bandwidth for.

Nobody talks about the voice commands much on the forum. You can tell the car to put the windows down and turn on the ac…don’t forget to ask the car for the commands and syntax. The car is more like Alexa and Siri then this forum lets on.

I like to have the hard copy to look up things. I know with the pdf you can do the same, but I am old school …literally…. Yes, you can ask the car and it will do things. Bringing it back, I did not see how you adjust the ac up or down, so, I touched the voice button and said turn the ac to 72….and sure nuff, it turned the ac to 72. Lucky, I am able to return the 2025 manual from the seller. It is an incredible car, so many more things than my 2018 had, and it was a nice car. Bringing the car back from Edmond to Houston, at 75 mph, I got 30.7 mpg, I was shocked.

They all differ, but my last salesguy did get the phone and BlueLink setup quickly.

I like going through and setting things up the way I want. Then, a 2 or 3 months later, go through it again and see if you still want to use setting or maybe there is a better one, now that you have some experience.
