    0-60

I've been reading disagreements on 2015 5.0 performance on various threads so I thought I'd start a dedicated one :) Feel free to include 3.8 numbers too. The general consensus seems to be around 5.2 for the V8 and mid to high sixes for the V6...

post your 0-60 times for the 5.0

Just curios, but I'm sure the 5.0 and the rspec are extremely close if not the same, so both are fine. I always see 4.8 on this site, but never see those numbers with edmonds or other car critiquers. I guess to achieve 4.8, the conditions and all variables with the car must be next to perfect -...

    2015 5.0 Genesis 0-60 time?

Just watched a You Tube video by ALEX ON AUTOS with the title: Genesis 5.0 Detailed Review & Road Test. Quite a list of cars he compares the genesis to.He drives a Jag but thinks the Genesis is his top choice. He says the 5.0 gave him a 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. Any thoughts on this?

    2012-14 Genesis Sedan 5.0 R-Spec weight and 0-60 times

I am new to this forum and just bought my Silver 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec with black interior. So far the car has been great. I was wondering what is the curb weight difference betwen the 2012/13/14 models and consequently the 0-60 times. I did look at the 2015 version and it's extremely...

    2011 3.8 V6 Sedan 0-60 times?

hey guys! just wondering what the 0-60 time on the 2011 3.8 v6 sedan is. i was surprised to see that the new 5.0 v8 rspec sedans are getting sub-5 second times! i should have splurged and gotten a v8  seeing as the v8 is getting 5.3ish and it has - give or take - 100 more hp and lb-ft of...

    2012 3.8 0-60 Runs

Since the web reports show the 2012 V6 does 0-60 anywhere from 5.4 seconds to 6.4 seconds, I've been anxious to see what I could actually pull off on my own as a person with no racing experience. I did about 8 runs, but only 2 of them were worthy of posting due to the difficulty in getting a...

    slow 0-60 times

I was driving on a deserted road yesterday so figured i'd do some 0-60 runs in my 2010 4.6. First run i had esc on, from a dead start and just floored it in automatic. i looked down and was shocked to see 8.3 seconds come up. so figuring i timed wrong or messed up something i went again this...

    0-60 MPH Test Results

My first post so go easy on me if i dork this up. Just picked up my 2010 4.6L (17,000miles) last month. I thought it might be fun to match some of the 0-60 claims. Here is what i found. Stock. 93 Octane (East Coast Gas). 1/2 tank gas. Stock Dunlops. 55F temp and Dry. I first tried with...

    2012 v6 beats the 2009 4.6 in 0-60

    well this according to the "zero to 60" website below, but i'm not sure as to the validity. 2012 v6 0-60 @ 5.3 seconds and the 1/4 miles 13.8 vs the 2009 v8 0-60 @ 5.5 seconds and the 1/4 mille 13.9. 5.0 r spec = 0-60 in 4.7 and the 1/4 mile @ 13.1...

    R-spec 0-60 only .2 sec faster than 2011 4.6

The power numbers for the 2011 Genesis 3.8 and 4.6 are squarely in the premium-class ballpark; more important, both engines furnish fine performance. Hyundai says the 10-horsepower improvement drops the 0-60-mph time of the 2011 Genesis 4.6 sedan by almost a half second, to 5.3 seconds...

Hyundai Equus 0-60 in 6.7 seconds

This is not good. Not for the market the Hyundai Equus is competing in. The BMW 750i does it in under five seconds. The Lexus LS does it in 5.4 seconds.. And so do the rest of them. This is over a full second behind competitors...

    Hyundai Azera 0-60 Performance Discussion

Motor Trend tested the Azera 3.8 Limited and got 7.1 seconds 0 to 60, 15.2 seconds @ 93 mph . I think that is optimistic. I have 2007 Azera Limited and for it to do 7.1 seconds from 0 to 60 it would need to be going downhill with a Ferrari pushing it. Don't get me wrong I love the car. For what...
