38 or tech

guys if you had to choose, would you get a 2009 4.6 fully loaded, or a 2012 3.8 with tech pack? i will have to pay a bit more to switch to a 2012 3.8, but trying to decide if its worth the trade. I really want the r-spec but for now its not an option.
