Hey everyone, hopefully this thread becomes active as I can get many responses and experiences from you all. My car is having an issue with the shifting box where it will sometimes not know what gear I select and I get a P0705 for the range sensor(inhibitor switch) code. This happens...

I drive a 2012 3.8 Sedan and it has the same issue going from 2-3 and 4-5, also the reverse shifts a bit rough too. I found this is a common issue for A8LR1 trannys in this model and Hyundai remanufactured and replaced a lot under warranty. I wish the owner I bought mine from had done this...
