cracks

My 2009 V6 Genesis is 18 months old. I noticed today that the leather wrapping on the top of the steering wheel is rough and shows small cracks. This can't be from the heat because the car has very low mileage and stays in the garage when not in use. Anyone else noticed this? I will show...
