Does the AEB system work in conjunction with the Rear Cross Tracking system/alarm?

I like both these cars. The CTS looks sharp, but is a bit smaller in the back and its MSRP is much higher. However, the Caddy dealers are blowing out the 2014 models and there are deals to be had. Anybody cross shop both models and have any opinions?
