According to Auto Blog, the Hyundai Genesis is number one in vehicle depreciation- losing approximately $16,600 of value in the first year of ownership. I don't understand- my only issue is an idler pulley in my '12 3.8 sedan. It's an outstanding vehicle in my opinion.:D

For fun, I took a look at depreciation rates of the Genesis 4.6 vs the BMW 550i and Infiniti M45 for the 2010 model year. Based on Edmunds, the Genesis is now worth in the low 20's vs the others that are all worth in the mid-20's. (based on 30k miles) So, it appears that cars that cost around...

Been doing some depreciation calculations and it seems that the Genny sedan that I leased (a 2010 at about 38 k new) will depreciate over three years as follows: 6k, 4k, 4k. Does that seem reasonable? Many in this group seem to have a sense of Genny fair prices and reasonable depreciation.
