heat or ac

Hello all. I am new to the Genesis and noticed I have no heat or AC movement in the car when i turn my levels up or down. I do how ever noticed the AC kicks on when I turn the fan settings up or down. I looked under my passenger side and noticed I have a wire free hanging and a hole that is...

I'm still trying to understand why/how you can have your dash controls set to AC and yet you can get blazing heat out of the rear vents. I have not yet tried to get simultaneous heat in the front and AC in the rear. Anybody tried that? So, what's the scoop? Do we have a two zone climate control...
