    Lane keep assist

Wondering if leaving the lane keep assist on all the time will cause the tires to wear out faster? Apparently I am a terrible driver because I fight my wheel a ton.. I'm pulling one way and wheel pulls the other, sometimes making the car move strangely..which led me to wondering about tires.

2015/16 Genesis-- Lane Keep Assist & Adaptive Cruise

I'm seriously considering purchasing a new 2015 Genesis 3.8 with Tech (or 2016, if they get here soon), and am interested in perspectives on lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. I commute 100 miles daily, with most of the drive on a major highway without significant traffic. I...

    Lane Keep/Departure Won't Turn On

I have a 2015 v6 Tech. Lane departure warning has worked great so far... until today. When I press the button to turn it on and off, the button light goes on and off like you'd expect but the system does not turn on. The center stack always shows it as OFF, no feedback, no warning. Limited...

    Lane Keep Assist Broken

For the past couple of weeks I've felt like the car was pulling to the left. At first I thought I needed an alignment. The car only has 5K miles on it and it seems strange that it would be out of alignment. I valet the car regularly and I suspected that something happened during one of those...

    Lane departure warning system (LDWS)

Has anyone here had their LDWS system adjusted? Not a Hyundai caused problem BTW, Just a huge rock that I caught in the middle of the windshield! Safelight repaired it OK but the system fails to lock on and it intermittent at best. I am not really bothered that much but I would like it to...

    Lane Keeping Assist Feature

The owners manual shows a little steering wheel ikon that is supposed to show up when lane keeping assist is working. I have that package, but I've never seen that little steering wheel, and my steering wheel is never assisting me to stay in the lane. Lane departure lines ikon and steering...

lane keep steering (how to defeat or trick 15 sec warning)

No Lane Centering for '15 Genesis

I was really hoping that the new Genesis would have automatic Lane Centering as part of its Lane Keep Assist feature, but according to an email response I received from Hyundai national customer service, they have not heard of it. Too bad, because several of its competitors already have it...

    Retro-fit Lane Change Assist?

As most of y'all know here, the 2009 Genesis does not have lane change assist...why...idfk. Anywho, is it possible to retrofit lane change assist from a 2010 into a 2009? I would assume it's just a module in the stalk or column. Any insight on this one all? Thanks OneFun

Is the slow lane the new fast lane?

A bit of a rant.... I drive a lot.. and I have found in moderate traffic that I spend about 70% of my time in the slow lane (on 2 or 3 lane highways) because the fast lane is littered with cars going 1 MPH faster than the traffic in the slow lane... These rolling road blocks seem to be...

    Lane Departure Feature?

I've got just 30 miles on my new Genesis V8 and working my way through the manual. There's three pages on the operation of the Lane Departure warning system but I don't appear to have that button on my car. It's supposed to be paired with ESC, but the ESC button is solo. I thought the V8 was...
