    Lane Departure warning sound

Equus, 2016 Signature ... The Lane Departure warning sound seems overly sensitive, and when in a curve closer to the line the warning beep becomes very annoying. Is there any setting or way to turn it off? Or adjust the sensitivity/proximity to lane lines?

    Lane departure warning system (LDWS)

Has anyone here had their LDWS system adjusted? Not a Hyundai caused problem BTW, Just a huge rock that I caught in the middle of the windshield! Safelight repaired it OK but the system fails to lock on and it intermittent at best. I am not really bothered that much but I would like it to...

    LDWS not loud enough

Anyone know where the beeper/buzzer is located for the LDWS. It is a distinct sound, so I theorize it may be a separate device from the other warning sound generators. My intent is to isolate it and swap it out for a much louder one. This function is absolutely useless in its current state...

    Who uses the LDWS??

Does anyone use this? I tried it a couple of times and found it much more annoying than useful. At least it doesn't have to be used like the adaptive part of the cruise control.

2012 Genesis LDWS (land departure warning system)

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum as I just 2 days ago bought a brand new 2012 genesis with 32 miles on it. I have a questions about the LDWS which mine came with on the 4.6 trim. it seems to work ok and I think it is only a waring system and not a prevention system however when listening to...

    Smart Cruise Control

I'm looking into purchasing an extended warranty contract for my Equus Sig. The "Platinum" plan is the only one for Equus. Within that list of exclusions is the LDWS and any radar controlled devices ie: Smart Cruise. Being that Smart Cruise (SSC) is more or less a "safety" feature, why is it...
