mirror tap

Anyone have an idea why the far right wire, the ignition wire, is unable to be tapped? I have been trying to tap into the ignition wire on the mirror and it seems impossible. Kept breaking mirror tap pins. The ground goes in pretty easily. Decided to take a pic to see what the hell was going...
