paddle

Are there any medal paddle shifters made for the Genesis or that are available after-market that will fit? Of all the things on the interior that they chose the right material on, these being a cheap plastic (not even the nice TPU type plastic), I want to replace them. Thanks in advance!

I thought I'd use them a lot more than I do. I used them a lot on the track in Korea, but now that I own a 2nd gen I can't even remember the last time I used them.

Am I living under a rock or does hardly anyone ever use the paddle shifters for these sedans ? or any sedan in general ? I mean, yeah I guess for a sports car like a mustang or nissan Z is ok, but for a sedan ? really ? do we really need paddle shifters ? How many of you actually use them ...

This is my first car that I've ever owned with paddle shifters and I haven't tried shifting with them from a stop as of yet. My question is when the car is stopped at a red light, what gear out of the eight should the car be in for good acceleration off the line? Thanks in advance.
