preaccident

I have noticed that when I brake and swerve to avoid a collision that the LCD display briefly shows a car with red and possibly an exclamation point, and will chime. I'm not using the smart cruise, and typically driving under 40 MPH. Is the car telling me that it is activating some pre-accident...
