I just put a deposit on a '12 Genesis 3.8 sedan. The dealer mentioned the car had never been rustproofed and recommended it. I have read elsewhere that rustproofing is pretty much just a way for the dealer to pad their profit. Any thoughts? What is the track record of the Genesis with respect to...

Does anyone know what proof/documentation is required when taking this rebate if you are not trading in? I have a vehicle that qualifies but want to sell it myself to get the most money out of if but also want the rebate since I will still be leaving a competitor(Infiniti) to switch to Hyundai.

I may have found a way to turn ESC OFF completely WITHOUT loosing GPS, speedometer, etc... I say that because today I did it.:p The only thing I noticed was the cruise control did not work anymore and I could NOT put the ESC back on. (It always stays OFF) I had to shut the car down and restart...
