scrapes

I've put about 8000 miles on my Genesis and i've noticed multiple, very large scratches in the leather steering wheel, apparently coming from my wedding ring. I'm a bit surprised because the ring has no sharp edges, but is rather a plain gold band. I'm wondering if i should bring the car in to...
