shuffle

Hello, I have 2005 ultimate and using jukebox to play mp3 which arranged by genre subfolders and then years. I can not figure out how to start playing all mp3 in specific folder and all subfolders. I expected to see be able to choose folder and tell somehow to play all files there

I recently read in the "likes" thread that someone likes the fact that media shuffle mode can be set to always on. Can anyone tell me how this is accomplished? Every time I restart the vehicle shuffle mode defaults to "off" and I have to go through the steps to reset shuffle mode back to "on"...

I have an iPod Shuffle that my new Genesis will not recognize. The message is something like, "The USB device is not supported" Any ideas? Any similar experience? Any solutions? Thanks, Jeff

Had some initial problems getting recognition of my IPod, which I resolved by re-downloading ITunes and "restoring" IPod. Now car recognizes IPod, but does not keep/retain/hold the "shuffle" setting (in songs). Any minor change such as going to FM or even back to playlist deletes the shuffle...

I just upgrade my iphone 4 to IOS 6.0, I am able to shuffle the playlist unlike before. So if you are looking to shuffle the playlist, give it a try. I still can't get it to random from the display, but it will play my playlist as shuffle now.

The IPOD does play in the shuffle mode. What you need to do is start the IPOD in shuffle mode and then connect it to the IPOD cable. The songs will appear on the screen as well as the running time. What you won't see is the artist.
