sirius or xm dead zones

I have had my Genesis for 6 weeks now, and every now and then when i'm listening to my satellite radio, it goes in and out mostly when i'm driving under phone lines. Does anyone else have this problem? Also how long do you have the introductory 'free' package. I've seen some places advertise...
