Anyone have experience with them? I know the trend is blizzaks and x-ice with soft compounds however I live in a hilly location and thought studs would provide extra snow/ice traction. Found a great deal on mint used set of Cooper 235/50/18 studded tires.

Are there any issues with running studded tires in the winter. A buddy has a set of 2 studded snow tires that are almost new he wants to sell me for $150. All I would need then is regular snow tires for the front. Just not to sure about running studded tires, because I will be putting them on in...
