Hi, I start my beautiful new cruising limo and turn on the media music. I then go to settings and advanced and the surround sound is set to OFF, yet the last time I ran the car I had the SS set to ON. Does the SS default to off each time? Bit of a nuisance if it does. I like SS. Nick

Surround sound does not stay selected for both FM and XM when both are selected at the same time. Is that normal? It's a 2012 4.6.

Just leased a black on chashmere 2011 V-8. I love it. Not since I had a 1973 Datsun 240Z have I enjoyed a car so much. My question is this. Is there a way to get the surround sound for the IPOD to default as such. Whenever I start up the IPOD I have to go in set the system to default. Thanks

A true home theater buff, I am an expert in all the surround formats for my home viewing. Music on the other hand is where I am not an expert, but have a high interest in. Read in manual where the 4.6 tech pack can handle just about any surround format....which is great. Not sure about SACD...
