towing

I was towing my motorcycle trailer up the grapevine today when my gv80 limited speed to 40mph and kept rpm at 4500. I have towed different trailers to different states and this is the first time to have Towing Protection Mode automatically turn on. I couldn't find any GV80 information online...

I have the OEM trailer towing hitch with 2" receiver on my 2022 and no longer need it. It's been used for the last 2 years to hold my bike carrier. Selling in the DFW area for $300. I'll even help with installation!

Since I truly don’t know, maybe someone smarter can answer this. How come the GV80 3.5t has a towing capacity of 6,000 lbs while there GV70 is 3.5t only has a 3,500 lbs capacity? I assume that both the engine as well as transmission are likely the same, and the suspension is likely similar...
