Has anyone experienced a "whineing" when accelerating between 40 and 65 mph? Its not loud, but just started after 4,000 miles. It reminds me of the old rear differential gear whine older cars used to get.

With about 22,000 miles on the clock I have a noisy engine at cold start up. Sounds like tapping valves. After about 5 minutes running the sound is gone. (yes cold to very cold weather). Until recently this noise didn't exist. Dealer states it is normal. Anyone else hearing this?
