un sprung weight

Im toying with the idea of changing out the rims and tires on my '09 4.6. I like the look of the stock rims, they are fine and IMO compliment the car nicely. Does anyone have advice on.. reducing the un sprung weight? will I see that much of a difference? I know tire compounds can change...
