v8 and v6 18

Can you put 18" V6 wheels on the V8 sedan Genesis? I just purchased a new set off of eBay and the seller said they came off of the V8 model, but when I look at them closely, they don't look like the ones on my car (which is a V8) I bought them for a winter set of wheels so I don't really care...
