Getting familiar with the group...
Hi to everyone, I am new to this site, did'nt know it existed. I was a former member of the Factory sponsored Genesis Owners Forum before Hyundai scrapped it, probably due to the overwhelming amount of complaints on the 09's suspension.
I was one of the unfortunate 2009 first build 4.6 sedan owners. Loved the car except for the awful jittery unsettled ride. After over a year of numerous complaints to the dealer and Hyundai Corporate, they agreed to work with me on a trade in for a 2010 4.6 sedan, under one condition, that I pick out a 2010 4.6 and drive it for 100 miles before making a decision. I did so and discovered a huge difference in the ride, much smoother and much less unsettled. They sold me the car for dealer cost and gave me top extra clean trade in value for the 09. I am completely satisfied with my 2010. For a extra smoother and quieter ride, I replaced the Dunlop tires with Bridgestone Serenity tires at 22,000 miles. Looking forward to the next generation Genesis, probably 2014 or 2015 model year. It is still the best bang for the buck.
