and, no real issues.
Drove it through the Michigan winter without getting stuck once, I live in the sticks on a gravelroad, even there no problem. Thats with stock tires.
I still love driving it, pulls nice, good handling, brakes are a bit noisy.
It seems that the car has gotten a bit louder under power, but that may be subjective. MT still sucks, although 1-2 shifts are less crunchy, 5th gear is still far from smooth. Shifting when the car is really cold is very difficult in gears 1-3, once warmed up and now with higher temps it is no issue. Guess the tranny fluid isn't made for single digits. Minor annoyance.
Sunroof is making a bit of noise, its the rubberseal rubbing on the paint. its just every now and then, though.
Inside, the plastic needs to be way more scratch resistant. I really take care of it and it still has scratches, especially the black plastic around the seatbelt buckle. My old Buick had better materials....
Rear window fog is not as bad as it was when new.
rattling noise in the dash at around 3k rpm, the engine is poorly balanced and vibrates a lot, could be resonance at that rpm.
On the outside the paint is very sensitive, again, scratches too easy, none of my previous cars (old and new) ever had such problems. The worst is the clearcoat on the wheels, no painted wheels i had before ever showed any scratches. these here look bad if you look close. Glad I leased the car...
I have the 2.0T premium package, so the regular 18" wheels. On the beat up roads here around Detroit the car bounces around a lot, i think its a bit to stiff. Why someone would want to have the track version with 19" wheels(unless actually for the track) is beyond me.
Gas mileage, they must have switched to summer gas a week ago, my mileage went up over 2mpg's. Typical driving is a mix between city and highway with some fun involved. Right now I get mid to high 24 mpg's and around 30 just on the highway. Not too bad.
Still haven't seen another one on the road here, its cool to have a rare vehicle. Camaros on the other hand are now littering the landscape, very individual...
Summary, good fun car with some room for improvement in the material quality area and the transmission, but its the first year of production which one should never get.
So life is good.
