  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey all!
Had a minor fender bender yesterday, which resulted in front end damage & the air bags deploying. I had been planning on adding LEDs to my 2016 3.8. I seen threads of those with 2015s adding the fogs; which recently some say that for the 16s, Hyundai installed the harnesses for the addition of fogs to just be a plug & play installation. Aside, from the fogs (with the plugs to connect to harness) & the light toggle with the fog light switch, is there anything else that is needed?

I figure since the front is going to be worked on, I might as well get all the parts necessary to have the shop install them.

TIA

I would recommend you make sure what wiring you have since you might be surprised since I don't think which cars have some wiring and which ones don't is really consistant. And to my knowledge even if you have the wiring harness it does not extend past the car side of the bumper connector on the drivers side that has the wires for the parking sensors. Thus you will have to install an extra connector or realize you have to disconnect and separate any wiring on the bumper side for the fog lights to remove the bumper facade. The factor system has the fog light wiring fixed to the bumper with the connection to the car via that diriver's side front bumper connector. Thus when you unplug that bumper connector the facade along with all the wiring to the parking sensors and fog lights stay with the bumper facade.
