  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Title says it all: when I try to close the cupholder lid, it wont close all of the way, or latch shut. Any ideas?

Could be snagging on the other end that you can't see.

Sounds like a good reason to buy a new car and be done with the headache.

Lower cost alternative, stop for a coffee and then you have reason to keep it open.

That doesn’t help me much. Clearly, it’s snagging on the other end that I can’t see.

I’m in the process of negotiating for a 20 5.0 and don’t want to get dinged on the trade.

Now you gave some information that may help.

Put a cup in it when you go to trade and they won't check. My dealer never did anything more than look out the window to see the color and used Carfax for his trade number that we negotiated.
