  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

Proud owner of a 2015 3.8L. Just changed tires for the winter, looking for rims in the summer.

I'm wondering if I can use the stock 19" rims from the 5.0L version staggered on my 3.8L. I'm assuming the chassis between the two are the same, so there wouldn't be a problem. Just asking to see if anyone else has had more experience than I or if there's official documentation since I don't see the sticker on the sill as being one of the options.

Rear part #52910B1270

Thanks in advance!
Ken

I don't see why it wouldn't work - 5.0 rims (19) to 3.8 (18)... 3.8 size to 5.0 likely would be problematic since the 18's might not clear the 5.0's larger brakes.
