  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone has installed this on their 1st Gen sedan. I have a Titanium Grey Metallic RSpec. I am think of installing a black version of this. It is a little pricey (around $500-$700) and was hoping to get some feedback on quality, ease of installation, etc.reso-800-2.webp

It must be picture from South Korea. They are doing crazy stuff to their Genesis cars.

That was my first thought when a saw this after doing a Google images search, but this was a SEMA car from a garage in California. I like the look and how it fills out the grille openings.

I have this one for sale of you're interested. Different look but I'll make you a good deal on it. Already painted your car's color.

FOR SALE: - Cmod grill fits 2009-2012 Genesis sedan - new and painted

I wouldn't mind trying it, but would depend on the price. I was originally think to do the grille in black. I actually have this grille in flat black and the mesh grille from KDMholic in black. Neither really did it for me. Maybe I need to try it painted to match the car.

I’m guessing you bought your car used and that warranty coverage is a distant memory. I’d recommend saving your money for the inevitable expensive repair/maintenance that lies ahead. If you want a black grill, paint or wrap the grill you have.

Nope, i purchased from Carmax in Nov 2019. Only has 58k miles and Carmax extended warranty through ~125k miles. I will put less than 10k a year on this car, so I should be fine. But I appreciate the (good) advice!

That’s a good plan. My ‘12 has less mileage than yours with an extended warranty till 2024, or 120,000 thou miles. I’m the original owner, but plan to gift the car to a grandchild, probably next year. The transferable warranty will be the icing on the cake for a young driver.
